Ein besonderes dunkles Bier, das in einem speziellen Maischverfahren mit verschiedenen Spezialmalzen gebraut wird. Das Erfolgsrezept: das Bier wird zu einem Geschmack gebracht, nicht zu süß und nicht zu bitter, der allen Gästen von der Nordsee bis in den Süden schmeckt. Es liegt mit einem Gesamtausstoßanteil von ca. 80 % ganz klar an der Spitze.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours brown with a medium head. Aroma is toasted malts, caramalts. Body is light, nutty caramelly,, light liquorice, softly sweet, with a prominent lively carbonation. Quite smooth. Dry palate, easy to drink. Good!

Bottle. Brown color with ruby highlight and a big tan head. Aroma is malty, earthy, a touch of grassy hops. Taste is earthy, some Franconian juicy malts, chocolate, mineralic, bready, nutty, grassy, and with some nice hops. Natural carbonation. Ridiculously drinkable and refreshing without losing taste or character.

500ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly dusty, grainy, dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge, chocolate, silage, grassy hop. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of chocolate, dry, minimally grassy hoppy overtones.

Tap at the Franconian Beerfest 2019. Rich cocoa and dark rye bread nose, with caramel, spicy hops. Dark orange-brown. Rich malt flavor, chocolate, cocoa, bread, toast, nuts. Not sweet. Herbal peppery hops. so crisp and clean for a dunkel, not at all sweet or cloying. Finishes spicy, lightly prickly, nice. Tap at Huett’n. 6/3/6/3/13=3.1Orange-brown color with a fine, low head. Nose of caramel, biscuit, brown sugar. Sweet, sugary flavor, a bit thin. Not interesting.

Draft @ Weinstube Pizzini, Bamberg. Pours a dark amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak bready caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel bready flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.
