Très aromatique, biscuitée, cette ambrée trouve ses couleurs proches de la bière brune, sans toutefois abandonner sa teinte rousse. Bien charpentée, elle sera le plaisir des amateurs de bières corsées.

Tap at Troquet des Kneckes. Murky orange with small off white head. Sour grains, some apricot and lemon, lots of yeast, dough, light funk. Medium sour and bitter with light sweetness. Under medium bodied. It looks very bad and even though something went probably very wrong here it's still refreshing and drinkeable because of the sourness. But I'm not sure you should keep pouring this as a bar when it's sort of your house beer...

Amber color, tiny head. A bit earthy, caramel, even candyish nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, metallic, low bitterness. Sweetish. Meh.

Bottled@Björntasting. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden and some mild toffee to it. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some metallic notes to it, which kind of ruins the enjoyability of the beer.

Purchased at Village de la Biere in Strasbourg, France; enjoyed on the last night of a long trip in my hotel room in Eppingen, Germany. Appearance is a dark, murky orange/brown with no head, almost looks like fruit juice. Aroma of banana, clove, yeast, , a light sweetness. Taste kind of tastes like a fruit juice, with obviously more yeast, moderate carbonation, tastes is pretty good. Happy to have tried this.
