La bière de Noël Uberach à tout d’une belle. Toute en rondeurs, synonymes de volupté, sa robe se fait douce aux reflets cuivrés. Cocon suave ou domine la cannelle.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazign beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, as well as some hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle in Strassbourg, 2006. Amber, though very cloudy and a tan / orange tint. Very small head that quickly vanished. Very aromatic. Amber malt, nuts, a bit of spice, some barnyard aromas as well, with chocolate and caramel. Very malty, semi-roasted flavor. Earthy, with grass or hay, chocolate, cloves, coriander?. Citrus, maybe orange peel. Not heavily spiced, though. Earthy malt finish with a touch of sour and some hops. Well balanced amber biere de garde flavor. Not much different from their regular amber, so I wonder what they have done to it?
