The hops take centre stage with this one, as we use generous amounts of El Dorado and Chinook hops to give Finkle some gobsmacking lychee and grapefruit flavours. Underpinning this zesty intensity is a classic, full-bodied bitterness you can expect from all Great Newsome Beers.

Bottle from Strep Hill Wines, Lincoln. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty and fruity light bitter. Medium body.

Bottle from Belly Rub Beer, Scarborough. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Traditional malty aroma, malt loaf and dried mixed peel. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet orange finish.

bottle from Yorkshire Bier Huis. Hazy golden yellow, tall white head. Loveloy hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty background, fruity-resiny hops.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 4, 10/08/18. Golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is grassy, fruit esters, light citric peel, grains. Taste comprises melon, citric peel, light breads, straw, hint of lychee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Low end for the style ... a ramped up golden blonde!

5.5%. Clear gold amber lasting white head good condition apa. Good hops some citrus. Earthy hops. Some sweetness. Some biscuit. Some bitterness on the finish. Decent fruity apa.
