Complex bier met een citrusachtige fruitigheid, kruidigheid, lichte moutigheid en een mooie bitterheid. Stevig alcoholisch, maar goed doordrinkbaar. Al met al een heerlijk Tripel bier. UMA is de afkorting van Ursa Major (Grote Beer), ook wel de Zevenstarren genoemd. 7,8% alcohol

Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange golden, very thin white head. Taste: Grain, malt, yeast. Below medium sweet, very little bitterness. Hints of sugar and lightly hints of caramel and herbs. The alcohol is well hidden. Below medium body, fizzy irritating carbonation. Nothing special, dull.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hajé Nieuwegein. Hazy golden with a very thin white head. Faint fruity and yeasty aroma. Sweet bitter taste. Standard sweet tripel but not a bad one at all.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB April 2018, 33 cl sample. Hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of grainy malt, wheat and hay, bit spicy and yeasty. Slight bitterness in taste, grainy, hay. Bit sirupy texture. No added value at all.
