Bottled. Orangeish brown head with a beigeish brown longlasting head. Aroma is caramel, some zesty and floral tones with mild alcohol to it as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, zesty, some mild spicy tones with mild alcohol and some bitter floral tones in the finish too. Big and bold, yet quite easy to drink.

75cl Bottle, bought at De Bierkoning a few years ago. Slightly hazy reddish amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of thick sweet malts, spices, bread, earthy hops, liquorice root. Flavour is quite sweet, very malty, bread, spices, raisins, quite fruity as well, liquorice root, firm bitter finish. Full bodied, quite high carbonation. Nice, but rather sweet, still.

Bottle shared with my good friend Niels. Lightly unclear reddish color, average to medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, pretty sweet, some alcohol and some hops. Taste malts, sweet, some alcohol, some hops, some overripe fruits. Pretty nice! Medium to full body, medium carbonation. I quite like it! Though it doesn’t taste like a saison nor an IPA. To me it’s more like a hoppy quadrupel.

650ml bottle. Clear, wonderful copper colour with small, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Yeasty, minimally bretty, funky, floral aroma, hints of long drop, urinal cake, bath salt, sugary artificial lemon, minimally vinous, caramal malty undertones, a touch of hibiscus and rose hip. Taste is initially sweet, fruity, caramel malty and resinous hoppy, floral, notes of orange, orange zest, mandarine, candied lemon, red berry juicy, hints of hibiscus and rose hip; oily texture, soft, sticky palate. Very rich and complex, a harmonious composition of all-matching flavours; exuberant, double-IPAic, floral Imperial Saison. If I only had another one cellared. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Super-Charged Saison IPA on 10 Nov 2012 at 17:38 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: 750ml bottle [Thanx David!]. Slightly cloudy reddish amber colour with small, frothy, fairly lasting, off-white head. Dry, yeasty, minimally funky, spicy and fruity aroma. Taste is quite sweet caramel malty and fruity, bears resemblance to tomato ketchup, has notes of red berries, cherry, candied apple, a citrusy tart touch, bitter hoppy in the middle part, also a decent peppery note.

0.65l bottle brought home from Cask Pub & Kitchen. Well it looks really nice in the glass with a light cloudy almost glowing deep golden body. It also has a small to medium sized off-white head with good retention and some nice lacing capabilities. Really enjoy the first inhale on the nose. Reminds me of fruity soap. A ton of lovely hops just rushes in the nose. Lots of piney tones, a strong sticky malt sweetness with old grapefruit, citrus, defrosting strawberries and yeast. Damn, strange thing, the aroma develops for each sniff. Oh my this is sweet! Super almost cloying and sticky as hell. Soft to near flat on the carbonation and it's just like drinking fruity sugar water almost in the mouth. A ton of defrosted fruity strawberries in the taste also. It's bitter in a old hoppy way. Yeast, melon and honey syrup finishes it off. Could easily have been a nutty American barley wine this. This is way over the top most likely, and since it's evolving both in the aroma and in the taste, I'm quite glad I got a chance to try this creation. 18.11.2013
