Handpull cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Light gold, clear as a bell with a gentle little white head on top. Light malty aroma with some lemon, sticky bun and a touch of sulphur. Sweetish taste with bready malt and some citrus hops. Heavily astringent finish. Okay.

Cask at the Cherry Tree, Woodbridge. Pours golden with a good sized lasting white head. Aroma of hops, wheat, yeast and a hint of honey. Medium sweet with a light bitterness. Soft carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Decent golden ale to enjoy in a sunny Cherry Tree beer garden.

The 8th Redhill Beer Festival 2 Nov 12. Lys gylden. Ikke skum. Grei søt plommearoma. Smaken vel “lett”. Plommer. Syrlig frukt. Totalinntrykket blir vel søtt.
