Knowle Spring is a full-bodied blonde beer brewed with Golden Promise barley malt, Strisselspalt hops from Alsace, and UK-grown Minstrel, Cascade and Chinook hops. It’s an easy-drinking beer with floral and grapefruit aromas, spiced orange on the tongue followed by aromatic citrus hop flavours to finish.

Bottle, 11C. Deep gold with a large white head. Aroma of oranges, citrus blossoms, light biscuit. 7+ A bit too fizzy. Quite sweet at first with hay and some biscuit, then first citrus then spices grip towards a very English bitter finish. From the blonde is a type of bitter end of thing. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Morrison’s. One or two at work banging on about how good this is, but they also like Bradfield beers, so, you know. Clear gold. Fine white head. Nose has privet leaf. Rubbery grain. Some citrus notes. Taste is surprisingly bitter, with a gluey sweetness. Light to medium body. Bright carbonation. Bitter finish. Landlord in the Beer Engine on Westgate, circa 1990, it ain’t. But then again not many beers are...
