Another Kriek blend? Absolutely!
You won’t find a ‘pastry’ wild ale in this bottle. You will find a delicious batch of ‘The Kriek,’ with an elevated impression of the characteristics we love the most about spontaneous cherry beers.
Blended from multiple years and barrels, and refermented in secondary oak casks with beautifully fragrant and flavorful Montmorency and Morello cherries. The beer was then transferred a third time onto the additional ingredients before the fourth and final transfer into blending tanks for packaging. This is certainly a labor of love, and we hope it shows.

On tap at de Garde, pours a deep dark red / burgundy with a medium pink head. Aroma brings out a cohesive mix of vanilla beans, cherries, lightly tart cherries, cherry pits, and a hint of buried fink. Flavour is wonderful, with intense deep red cherries, cherry pith, vanilla beans, and a hint of cinnamon. Remarkably cohesive and complex, with great integration of the cherries and other adjuncts. Finishes lightly tart, fairly dry, complex, and very cherry-centric. Lovely.

Teku showing cherry red with sparse cherry colored foam.
The nose shows intense notes of Brett and sweet cherry pie.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with dry cherry forwardness reined in by cinnamon with hints of vanilla.
