On cask at Little John Hotel, Hathersage - Clear golden body with a small lasting (and lacing) white head. Aroma of resiny hops, grass and caramel malts. Flavour of caramel malts, fruits, mild grass and gooseberries. Not too bad, was a bit overly malty after a while though.

Cask-conditioned at the Crosse Keys (JDW), City of London 13/7/2013. Amber with a decent and tight, off-white head. Well- balanced brew with some biscuity malts, hedgerow hops and lingering bitter finish. Perhaps a bit understated, but drinkable nonetheless.
