650ml bottle [2017 vintage, barrel-aged 9 months, 14.0% abv]. Jet black colour with average, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel and dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, Bourbon, a touch of oak, whiffs of cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco. Taste is boozy, sweet and bitter, caramel and dark malty, notes of dark caramel, Bourbon, alcohol, whiffs of cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco. Watery texture, smooth and soft, pungent palate, fine and soft carbonation. Surprisingly light body, somehow thin and simple, simultaneously very boozy; somehow more liqueur than beer - useless, feeble-minded Big beer.

An extremely solid imperial stout, besides the barrel aging no fuss or other foodstuff items thrown in. Smooth, rich, thick and creamy. Good dose of bourbon. Really enjoyable, very well made.
