Can from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. Black with a light brown head. Blueberry, burnt malt, light coconut milk, some sourness, treacle, and a touch of spice (black pepper and ginger powder). Creamy verging on oily. Rather astringent, and drying at the end. I was looking forward to this one; it wasn't bad but it definitely failed to live up to my expectations.

Interesting. Not sure if it fully works, but certainly something different. Heavily toasted coconut, light fruity blueberries, good dose of roasty coffee and something lightly floral or fruity. From the kveik? Certainly not bad, even though coconut

Can on a train. Bought at Steel Tank Taphouse, Chandler's Ford. Coffee and dark berry aroma. Dark cola brown. Creamy beige head. Heavy bitter with a lot of dark fruit and espresso. Just read the can: getting the blueberry buy not coconut. Thin. Watered down cream. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. It's fine. They tried something different and it's not offensive.

Zurig fruit en kokosmelk, met droge metalige geroosterde gerst. Net als in NL maken die nieuwe UK brouwers er maar een potje van

330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, cautious hints of blueberry and black cherry. Taste is roasty dark malty, notes of dark chocolate and coconut, a tart-ish, fruity touch with cautious hints of blueberry and black cherry, sweet-ish, chocolately undertones; bitter, roasty and minimally alcoholic finish. Minimally sticky palate.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of berries, chocolate, malt, iron and licorice. Taste of tart berries, chocolate, licorice, malt just subtle coconut. Seems a bit oxidised. Too bad, hoped for more berries and coconut.

Keg at MK VHX, 12/12/18. Pitch black with with a well presented dirty tan cap. Nose is a little thin ABV considered, mellow roast, dark chocolate, toffee, dried fruits. Taste picks up comprising mellow roast, toffee, chocolate, dried fruits, aniseed, light black peppery spice, blueberry. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout if falling a tad short on the depth expected of an 8% number.
