500ml bottle. Clean amber colour, small off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of sweet biscuit malts, some dry hops, not much else. Taste is a little thin but pleasant with the biscuit like malts, dry and mild bitterness in the finish. Decent body for the ABV. Very one-dimensional but nice enough.

0,5 l bottle from Lidl Germany. Clear amber in the glass with a more than one finger foamy pale beige head. Low fruity an dry malty smell. Taste is a little bit fruity at the start, followed by dry malty, increasing caramel. Not really complex. Dry cardboard malt bitterness in the second part. Low carbonated. Okay for that low abv.

0.5 l bottle from local 'LIDL', best before January 2021. Clear deep amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity, slightly herbal-grassy aroma of marmelade, tea leaves, some orange peel and a touch of tobacco. Minimally sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity and moderately herbal-grassy taste of marmelade, tea leaves, orange peel, some caramel and hints of tobacco, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly herbal-grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A decent Ale, typically British, quite aromatic and just 3.6% abv. A Bargain!

Bottle from Asda. Copper in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. A sweet malty beer, with plenty of caramel. bready malts and some tired hops. Gluggable, but not pleasant - amazing to see Crafty Hen was priced the same.

On tap in Cyprus. Nice medium dark hay colour and good foam, soft malty hops on the nose. Flavour is weak malt with vague hops. Not sharp or interesting enough to be, uh, interesting.

23/10/2019. Bottle at Ipswich Town v Rotherham (we lost and played poorly but that didn't influence this review as the beer was 'enjoyed' pre-match). The choice had been Carling, Bulmers or this. It wasn't my first taste of GK IPA from the bottle, but first for many years, and it will certainly be my last. It was even worse than I remembered it. It was served in a clear plastic bottle as no glass allowed at football but I don't think that played a part, as it wasn't as if I'd particularly enjoyed the previous ones I'd had from glass bottles. It's better cask, but bottled it just was not nice at all. It's such a shame that so many good brewers get swallowed up or go bust and yet this over-hyped brand sells so well. Neither of us could finish our bottles and threw about half away. £8.20 well spent, not. And did I mention the football was rubbish too?
