Our newest version of our Surround Sound DIPA has brilliant notes of mandarin citrus, with pleasant undertones of tropical fruit and pine thanks to a huge 20 g/L dry hop dosing of Simcoe and Amarillo hops.

Can. Amber, with a bit of haze. A bit of pine, and a bit of orange. Sort of a strong IPA, with lots of orange and a bit of biscuity malt.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gently dank hops, some pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour has lots of celery and othe vegetables, with a touch of piney hops, and biscuity malt. Too vegetal and mineraly. This is a miss for me.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy pale gold with a large fluffy white head. Nose is citrus and pine with some spice and floral notes. Light sweet malts under a medium bitterness exhibiting some orange peel, grapefruit and pine. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation and a dry finish, Alcohol is well integrated. 8+/3+/8/4-/16

Pours a hazy golden-yellow colour with a slight off-white cap, average retention, leaving some foamy-bubbly lace. The aromas are quite sharp with herbal leaves, alcohol and pine notes. The juiciness is hiding in the background. The alcohol seems to show a lot in the mouthfeel, instead of warming, so not as well blended as expected from this great brewery. Very bitter because of this and the hops chose, but not extremely dry. The light juicy feel appears a little in the finish. Not one I would have again, but hope I can taste the Citra version of this beer.
