Involuntary Narcissistic Rage

In the can the aromas are old resin and citrus hops. In the glass very mild and not much at all. Appearances are hazy dark yellow with a huge long lasting frothy off-white head. Flavors are much better with good balance up front between sweet, bitter and carbonation. Hops taste fresh. Good body and finish turns fairly bitter with some lingering sweet. Decent brew.

Refrigerated pint can, May 18, 2022 poured into a glass. Opaque yellow with medium white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is tropical fruit, lactose, and herbal hops.

Grapefruit and lilly nose. Cloudy old gold, thick firm head, nice lace. Grapefruit, honey, grass. Full body, very easy carbonation.

ABV: 8.5%. Murky - muddy matt medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit - pineapple, light lactose - strawberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, wheat - oat, tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit - pineapple, light lactose - strawberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220113]

Pours a hazy, orange-peach, with minimal head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, with some berry/melon as well. There's a pronounced hoppy bitterness that starts about midway through and carries to the finish. Soft mouthfeel

0,473 boks fra min lokale nettleverandør, hjemme etter endt brygging av ny brown ale (og flasking av årets juleøl, som smakte så lovende at jeg går nok tom i god tid før jul...): uklar strågul med fint skum som varer. Imøtekommende aroma og smak med søt grapefrukt, pasjonsfrukt og overmoden ananas. Jordbærene de snakker om kjenner jeg ikke, derimot litt honningmelon og furunål/granskudd. Den helv... lactosen holdes heldigvis i sjakk av den fine bitterheten og fløyelsmyke maltkroppen. Gode greier dette, men ikke akkurat kortreist. Hva er poenget med å importere langveisfra når norske bryggerier leverer like gode (og ofte bedre) produkter? Eneste unnskyldningen for meg var å klokke inn en ny delstat.
