DIPA Fried is perhaps one of the first virtual brewed collaborations ever. DIPA Fried is made at Rock City Brewing (NL) with the digital support of Vibrant Forest (UK). This collab was planned in real life, but COVID-19 threw a spanner in the kettle.

DIPA Fried is a big double IPA with 8,5% ABV and was brewed with french fries in the mash. Not only for the richness of starch in potatoes, but also to emphasize both our great nations eating habits.

So gimme: Twee DIPA ‘met’ alsjeblieft!

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, no head. Palate is light and fairly dry, there is a reasonable fine carbonation here, so why doesn't it throw a head? Thin if smooth malts, reasonably sweet. Then lots of weird stuff happens. There is an odd tangy savoury thing here and skewed citrus peel. Finishes light and oddly tangy. A novel idea but it tastes suspiciously like someone added vinegar to the chips. Really didn't like this much at all.

Can from Mitra Bunnik. Beer with French Fries, hmm, sounds like just another gimmick. Basicly its just another okish DIPA, on the sweet side, lacking punch. Fries give a bit more body in texture. Its ok actually.
