Slowly building-up and fast disappearing cream-coloured head over redbrown beer. Old wine vats & barrels, fortified wine, portwine, raisins, bit nutty; (red) fruit on alcohol. Portwine, biscuit, nutcake with port. Brazil nuts & raisins; preserved red fruit. Quite rich, very slick/oily; alcoholheat, warming; but no trace of new flavours or deepening in the finish and aftertaste. Very classic Barley wine - in the better sense of the word. Txs to Stef!

Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, malt, and a bit of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to bitter finish.

Solidny, cielisty, troche ulepkowaty. Tu miala byc beczka? Bo chyba nie ma. Susz, kandyzowane rozne rzeczy, cukier i sporo karmelu. Nieco jakichs przyprawowych nutek. Super schowane alko. Acz calosc nieco meczaca. 3.6?

Botella 33 Cl en el Kraken 15.. 01.. 2019. Cata Rondadora...(r02). Color marrón rojizo turbio con casi nada de espuma, que desaparece por completo al poco. Sabores maltosos y cereales tostados con muy suaves tonos licosos y acaramelados también tostados. Muy suave amargo final. Cuerpo medio con sensación alcohólica bastante camuflada. Líquida con poca densidad y más menos fina al paladar. Barley wine suave con sabores apreciables y no muy intensa a pesar de su gradación. Para comenzar las andadas en este estilo no está mal.
