a: pretty hazy & chunky beautiful amber & copper body | nice thinnish tan head
a: alcohol | pitted fruits | very woodsie
f: rich sugars | clean malts | bourbon barrels (not rum!)
t: rich fruits | strong bitterness | polished warmth on end
o: great age | balanced sugars and pungency | nice after SEVEN years - fresh would have probably been way TOO much!

Een combinatie tussen een goeie ouderwetse dipa, een barley wine en een baco. Vreemd genoeg wel echt heel lekker. Bijzonder spulleke!

Flarra. Doftar svagt av starkvin. Ja eller Barely wine. Goa dofter dock av druvor. Smakar då? I munnen söt godis ja knäck smakar den. En jävla fin julöl blir detta. Efter några sekunder kommer rom i gommen. God strong ale hmmmm menar Dipa. Nää inte fan är detta en Dipa som sådan rätt dålig i den klassen. Men hade den klassats som strong ale hade den kommit bra till där. Ja nu betygsätts den ju i Dipa klasen

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear, orange gold with a finger of eggshell colored head that lingers then dissipates. Huge rum forward nose, oak, sweet coconut and more booze. Some tropical hop notes with pineapple and apricot as it warms. Also, as it warms the booze aromas fade. Hot and boozy on the palate with a sweet syrupy texture. All the rum in this one. Finishes hot and heavy with a rum-spice and light coconut with syrupy citrus. Founders dropped the ball on this mess in a big way. Maybe with a year of age on the bottle it may develop into something better, but at this point it is one of the worst beers I've had this year easily.
