Fresh and hoppy with a crisp citrus finish; essentially spring in a pint glass.

My Generation was launched in 2015 by two Black Sheep directors and Jonny Kirkham as a separate company to Black Sheep. Since 2019, Jonny Kirkham has been a director at Black Sheep, and the My Generation brand is no longer regarded as a distinct company, though for marketing purposes is still presented that way. The beers have always been brewed and distributed by Black Sheep.

Cask at Southwark Tavern, Borough. Weak and watery Pale Ale. The sort of stuff that would keep a pale lager drinker reasonably happy.

Crappy foam (let's be honest) and dark gold body with big carbonated bubbles. Soft smell of cardboard and Iraqi jeep fuel. Flavour is big caramel with some cardboard and shellfish. This is just not jiving. Maybe it needs to be tasted super cold, but in that case it wouldn't work anyway.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 18, courtesy of Simon. many thanks. Pours clear gold, small white head. Sweet malts on the nose. Taste is a little harsh, oversweet malt, caramel, some resin, citrus. Not too enjoyable.
