Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. 2020 Release bottled on 11.18.19. Bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown foam that lingers, then dissipates. Huge coffee, espresso focused nose with bourbon soaked oak and cacao nib. Cold brew coffee and bourbon on the palate. More cacao nib and light dark chocolate fudge flavors. Lingering bourbon and roasted coffee on the finish. No green coffee notes, all smooth cold brew notes. Delicious.
