Sample during "Hillary’s Portland to Columbus Beer & Birthday Bash!" on 01/20/2018. This brew is a hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, grape, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, funky yeast, grape and doughy malt. The finish is oaky with a wine and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good beer overall.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours hazy golden, small off-white head, no real lacing. Aroma is super funky, vinous and musty, more funk, basement and brett, funky musty socks, lemon. Flavor follows, medium tart and crazy funky. Light plus body. Not one of the better "the" beers.

750ml bottle pours out a hazy orange color topped with a small fizzy head. Nose is musty grapes oak barrel and plenty funky tartness. Taste is more of the grape notes oak musty notes and funk.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Aroma of tart, sour fruit and oak. Fresh taste of sour fruits, oak, white grape, subtle vanilla and some more sourness. I like this.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1, small sample. Thanks all for sharing! Clear golden to orange color, medium frothy head. Aroma has citric acid, bit plastic again, funky. Medium sourness in taste, slight grapes, citric acid. The acidity is good this time, and it’s not overdone with fruit like the Apricot and the Peach. I prefer this one.

Thank you Tinus! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT 2016-1. Hazy orange, little white. Nose is big sour candy, very simple & basic sourness, low sweetish oak, big lactic & orange peel. Taste is very big vinegar, puckering, acid, too vinegar, this is more orange peel than grape for me. Fizzy, puckering, overly heavy on vinegar. Third De Garde in a row that was below expectations for me, too bad.

Warm golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, mint, slightly funky. Funky flavour, wood, grapes, hint of sweetness. Finish malts, muscat, oak. Nice!

Sampled from bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Clear light orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is molten plastic. Taste is -again, like all their beers I guess- incredibly sour, grapes, a little dry. The sourness actually diminishes a little bit after a while. Not bad.
