Bottle. Murky dark brown color. Roast, yeast and hints of grassy hops in the aroma. Roast dominates in the flavor, giving only limited room for the hops, that have faded somewhat in the maturing period. Powerful beer. Dry with hints of tartness. Quite likeable.

Bottle thanks to @Bierkoning, bedankt Edo ! --- Beer merged from original tick of Brewlab Series 1401 Black & Tan on 18 May 2018 at 11:18 - Score: 7

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is yeast, cherries, light malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big yeast, malt bitter, light spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Almost black with nice full beige head. Spicy yeast up front with a nice kick of red fruits. Roasted grains and some chocolate. Lots of spices I can't put my finger on, some a bit musty but also a fresh herbal hoppy finish with light citrus. Full carbonation. I quite like this mix, everything works well together here.

Bottle. Dark, lively white head. Aroma is a mix of malt and sourness. Taste of roasted malt, licorice and some crispy coffee. Nice soft aftertaste. Mostly stout, hard to taste the tripel. Fails as a black & tan, but succeeds as a decent stout.
