Bottle at Blackfriars. Pours black with a very thin tan head that quickly vanishes. Aroma of cherries, booze, dried fruits. Tastes a little Sour at first then cherries hit in, bit of chocolate, coffee and a little boozy finish. Odd but interesting at the same time

Bottle. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn coloured head. Nose - dark chocolate. Tiny red fruit note. After about 5 minutes the cherries finally burst through in all their glory. Taste - loads of intermingled cherry and chocolate cake. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a rich but balanced and elegant finish. Overall - well done sir / madam! You’ve nailed this!
