Tetley's Smooth Flow is an extremely smooth ale with a nutty roasted full-bodied flavour, creamy caramel bittersweetness, balanced with a pleasant hoppiness and a soft caramel finish.
The Extra Cold is the same beer, drawn from the same keg, but passing through a chiller 1 degree colder than the regular Smoothflow.

Keg @ Black Bull, Gateshead. Dark amber with a thick creamy-frothy head. Crisp light maltiness, cold keg texture does feel nice as it goes down the palate.

Keg at Broadway Park Hotel, Sandown. Aroma has dark berries and grains. Clear light chestnut. Creamy white head. Light bitter before developing a sour berry streak. Underlying biscuity malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long finish. Bland but drinkable.

28/5/2019. Keg at the Kesgrave Community Centre where beer choice is very limited. This poured creamy white and slowly settled to a pale brown colour with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, fruit and berries. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Quite a fruity finish. A half was drinkable.
