The carbonated guinness that tastes like the nitrogenated guinness, same body and fullness, just a different mouthfeel . d&s Dresden

500ml bottle as Guinness XX Original @ 4.2% ABV. Pours dark clear dark brown-black with a tall beige head (probably because the glass is dirty). Aroma is roasted malt, notes and coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, white coffee, toffee, light bitter finish.

"Draught stout" Blik gekocht en gedronken in Frankrijk tijdens vakantie. Donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van drop en kruiden. Smaak van salmiak en rokerig, verder wat waterig. Weinig nasmaak. Bier valt wat tegen, weinig body.

Pours with nice big head and a very dark brown. Smells of tin and sweet barley. Flavour is fruity sweetness tempered by roasted barley. Medium finish, okay oiliness. Decent for a low budget supermarket beer, a bit better than some other variations I've had around the world.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur en smaak.

Bottle. German version, 4,1 %. Black/brown with a big beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, a little bit of coffee and some tartness. Taste is roasted malts, some dark chocolate and hops in the aftertaste. Strong carbonation and thin body. This is alright and totally sessionable but my least favourite Stout from Guinness. I'm missing the cocoa and the creamy mouthfeel.

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat' as 'Guinness Extra Stout' at 4.1% abv (German version), best before May 2018. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee and hints of licorice. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee and some licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent.
