61 Deep. Newest brew on the Burton block. 61 metres. That’s the depth of the well at the Brewery that gives this refreshing pale ale its name. The five American and Australian hops give it its fresh, zesty aroma, whilst the tropical fruit and citrus notes make it extremely drinkable. Dive in. - ABV 3.8% on keg and cask, 4.1% in bottles and cans.

500ml bottle: BB 31st Mar 2018. Early hours of 29th Sep 2017 poured into an Old Speckled Hen badged pint vase at home after working all evening at a beer festival. needed something refreshing and simple, this fitted the bill nicely. Golden bodied, white crown on top. Fairly well carbonated and almost 'fizzy'. Hops rule the nose and taste, light citrus notes in the fruitiness of the aroma, more prominent in the flavour. Decent bite to it.

Bottle, 0.50b. Pours clear deep golden color with thick soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, cereals, grass, citrus and tropical fruit. Taste starts light sweet grainy with toffee note, following refreshing grassy, mild fruity, a bit papery and chalky, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Simple and quite tasty...

Bottle from Asda. Golden in colour, with a thin, short-lived, white head and moderate fizziness. Light aroma of lemon, stale malts and a trace of leafy hop. Flavour had a touch of sharp citrus, sweet cereal malts and ended with a short, bitter, finish. Ok.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger frothy white head. Pretty good retention and lacing. Herbal nose, hops. Wood and hay, somewhat stale. Mostly thin body with regular texture. Carbonation is pretty soft, smooth mouthfeel. Mostly bitter taste and quite dry mouthfeel. Aroma of hops, grass and hay. Slight fruitiness. Some wood notes, a bit cardboard. Slight acidity in the aftertaste. Medium lasting finish, dry and peppery. Overall, ok. Nothing spectacular going on here. Decent.

50cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell. Pale amber with a loose cream head; citrus aroma; clean citrus taste with some doughy grains in the background; then a crisp grapefruit finish. Well hopped, and rather good.
