330ml bottle from Ølbutikken. Good amount of spotty lacework to the glassware. Huge, white foamy head, slowly dissipating. Near-clear golden. Vapour of smoked bacon. Subdued smoked flavour with mid-sweet malts beneath. Thin, soft and dry in the mouth. Just alright (hotel room, Copenhagen 06.11.2011).

On tap at Born & Raised. Pours with a clear golden body and a foamy white head that lasts. Aromas are of apple, smokey, caramel, bready and light earthy/vegital notes. Flavors are smokey, leathery, extremely bitter and earthy. Light esters. Lively bubbles, medium dry. Okay.

Bottled@Monks Wallingatan, Stockholm. Orange colour, small white/off-white head. Aroma is leather, yeast, mild toasted and smoked wet wooden notes as well as some fruity and caramelly notes. Flavour is rather similar in a nice balanced. More evident smoky notes in flavour than in the aroma.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a light haze and a huge white head with an enormous retention. Distinct fat smoke notes, not peat more Bamberg style. Rather light body, lightly sweet fruit and malt and a very distinct and leathery bitterness from the Sladek hops. 301011

Bottle. Unclear, golden-orange beer with a huge off-white head soon settling into a finger-thick layer of bubbles. Ham like smoke on the nose, some fresh and dried fruits too. Quite citrusy. Super carbonated, medium bodied and almost stingingly bitter. Almost undrinkable due to the carbonation level. Citrus peel and pine cones, as well as smoked malts. Well, the carbonation level killed my interest. 111105
