Lots and lots of foam and too much CO2 on the rather dry palate. Very light aroma is smoky, ashy and dry. Flavour has smoked wood, ash and peat. Rather weird stuff but still kind of good. Actually very good for a 4% ABV beer.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy golden, rich head. Smoky meat aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and blown up mouthfeel due to overcarbonation. Mild woody smoke spritzed up in a cloud of whipped cream. Salty finish.

Bottle from brewery shop. Hazy golden color with huge white foamy head. To be honest, bigger part of glass was head. Aroma of honey, pine, coriander, forest fruit. Taste, lemon, grapefruit like bitter, hints of orange, light smoked bitter finish. Nice.

Sample form bottle at Monks porterhouse. Pours slightly hazy. Lightly smoked and tarr aroma. Surprisingly thirstquenching for a smoaked beer. Wakes the memories form my late teens with pale lager and an occational Lucky strike...

Bottle. Very interesting smoked! It’s not overwhelmingly smokey, it’s actually kind of fresh (in a hoppy way). The smoke is there in the end to make it a little more interesting. The low 4%ABV makes this one into a delicious little session smoked.

Draft @ DeMolen, Aug 5th visit. Bière orangée avec légère opacité, col épais blanc. Arôme est subtilement fume, malt avec une touche de citron et herbacé ainsi que un profile malt grille, le tut reste très agréable. En bouche, malt fume qui se partage la place avec ce qui rappelle une IPA laissant un profile sec qui se balance avec une tes légère amertume. Sur la fin, je note une touche de levure belge et herbacé. Bière facile a boire, dans le style mais qui propose qcq chose de nouveau de par l’usage du houblon. On y retrouve donc ce petit duel, malt fume et houblon léger citronné.
