golden coloured strong bitter traditionally brewed using only the finest quality of Stonehenge Spring Water, barley and wheat malts, whole hops and the brewery’s own top-fermenting yeast. Good hop and fruit aromas and complex flavours developing into a beautifully balanced full-bodied aftertaste with hops and fruit to the fore. Simply a Top Class Beer which has won several major beer festivals.

Cask@Market Porter. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, honey, some nectar, mild wood as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is being quite much the same along with some honey and mild spices. A quite pleasantly flavoured brew.

Cask @ 3 Craws. Hazy orange colour, white head. Aroma of biscuit malts. Flavour has biscuit malts and hops, some citrus. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090629]

Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Grassy hop aroma with a fruity apricot note. Dry and hoppy, grass and fruit flavour

From cask at YNWA. Pours golden orange with a small white head. Mild peachy and vague orange fruity hops aroma. Flavour is mild hoppy and fruity with a mild fruity hops flavour and smooth caramel malty base flavour. Peachy hoppy finish.

Draught. Pale amber with some head. Somewhat hoppy aroma. Light body with light to medium carbonation. Flavour is malt and fruit with flowery hops giving a lightly bitter aftertaste.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol. Deep gold colour with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet malt aroma with some hay and floral hops. Flavour of floral hops and more malt with a decent bitter finish. Good.

Hazy blond color; nice perlage. The malty aroma is delicate and flowery. Malt taste, not strong but delicate and pleasant, dry, with a floral sweetness and a reasonably strong hopping. Refreshing and enjoyable.
