Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy reddish color, average off-white head. Aroma is malts, tea, herbal, medicinal. Taste malts, medicinal, sweetish, overripe apple, overripe pear, herbal. Decent body and carbonation. Very weird and not my thing.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Art Coure Ale on 25 May 2018 at 11:08 - Score: 6

12oz bottle from a farmers market in Barcelona. Pours a clear, caramel amber with some bright white, lacing head. Nose has a lot of christmas spice, heavy clove, some pepper, some fruit cake, dried cherry, some crystallized ginger. Flavor is sort of the same, there’s some malt, a little specialty grain like rye or maybe even some triticale, but then the spice takes over, heavy clove, heavy candied ginger, some white pepper, dried cherry, a little prune, some caramel, a little carrot cake. Boozy, spicy finish. Messy.
