Cremiger, malzig-herber Beginn. Mild alkoholisch, etwas Karamell, Toffee. Süffig, eher trockener Hintergrund, die Malzigkeit bleibt konstant auf hohem Level. Cremig, süffig-malziger Abgang. Gefällt. 10/10/12/11/9/11

Bottle@Jens Spansk smagning (26/08/2022) - Toasted sweet malty with notes of toffee and caramel, dried fruit shred, some whisky washed wooden notes, medium body, warming malty spiced finish. Alright.

Bottled. A hazy dark brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, dried fruits, alcohol, and malt, leading to dry finish.

brown with a light glow, and fine beige head. aroma of malts, bitterscotch, caramel, also moldy, stale, earthy, (obsolet, terrenoil), Taste has some roasted malts, malty, butterscotch, alcohol, above average sweetness, average bitterness, butterscotch, average body. a bit thin texture, could have been less earthy/moldy. --- Beer merged from original tick of SCONE Barley Wine on 19 Jul 2018 at 21:52 - Score: 6. Caña en el salón de la cerveza artesana Oviedo marzo 2018. (r01). Color ámbar bronce oscuro turbio con espuma beige fina. Sabores intensos alcoholicos, alicorados maltosos tostados con suaves toques de caramelos tostados, ligera sensación de licor de guindas. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Fina en boca algo pastosa y densa. Suave amargo final. Buena, para repetir.
