West Coast Double IPA

This beer is our story about modern West Coast Double IPA.?. We took classic malt base and added honey malts instead of caramel. As a result - super soft mouthfeel for 8% and beautiful colour with creamy foam head.? Next, hops (Simcoe, Citra, Enigma, Chinook and Nelson Sauvin) - mix of old and new school flavour bring together ripe tropical fruit and pine aroma in nose.

Zoet, mango oid, wat plantaardig of herbal. Teveel schuim ook. Meh, tegenvaller voor een zgn "west coast dipa"

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, the can opens lively, but not really a gusher. No surprise that it throws quite a large pale cream colour head. Palate light, a tad thin really, mildly dry and with a good minerally crisp bite. Thin malts bring a reasonable sweetness. Crisp minerally hop born citrus. Bright orange and mandarin but a little thin and minerally. Whisper of citrus peel before a crisp finish. The bones of a decent dipa here but it's a bit thin and minerally.

Cold on hot weather, also I am quite thirsty. Smell-weak fruits, hops, malt, caramel, citrus. Foam- thin, fruits, hops, malt, a bit of sweetness and citrus. Head is lege, orange, white color, fine. Appearance- generic white can. Bit cloudy orange, amber-ish color, high carbonation. From- snifter Taste- fruity, sweet, acidic, citrus, malt, hops. Very tasty and refreshing, I might be biased as I am thirsty but this hits the spot quite good. Bit of odd sweet metallic aftertaste brings it down a bit.
