The VALAISANNE Blanche (Wheat) appears with a satin, light yellow color and a magnificent, natural yeast turbidity.

Due to the hop addition of the noble aroma of the Amarillo hop to the young beer, the mild clove and tender yeast notes of the wheat beer mix with the fruity apricot and citrus notes of the hops to form a successful mélange. The full-bodied Blanche wheat finishes with a fine, mild bitterness.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a big head. Aroma is grassy hops and flowers at first, later more banana, sugar and little booze. Body is medium, lively carbonated, pleasantly and softly sweet, leading to a rather dry palate. Quite smooth and good to drink. Good.

33 cl bottle at Hotel Le Saint Romain, Romainmotier. Milky, golden colour with a fluffy, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, sweet, exotic fruits, wheat malts and a spicy hint. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry and fruity with lingering citrus. Rather tart for a Hefeweizen - this is leaning more towards a Belgian Wit. Still good, trough.
