This imperial stout lands somewhere between Buckley and Junie for its grainbill, though it sits at a sessionable 9% abv.... A light summer crusher indeed. To keep the body in line with the Buckley and Junie we all know and love, we swapped out some base pale malt for flaked barley and flaked oat along with some milk sugar to give it a big creamy mouthfeel. We then loaded the whole works with peanut butter and vanilla, because those are delicious things.

Can thanks to my Mom! Pours a dark deep chocolate with a tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has has a nice peanut and sweet dark grain note with some vanilla underlying. Flavor has more of a sweet dark grain and vanilla note with light peanut coming through.

Can from Transient. Pours a pitch black with a half finger of brown foam that dissipates quickly. Coffee forward nose with dark malt, kit kat wafer and vanilla aromas. Medium body with more scratchy wafer notes with dark chocolate, vanilla, lightly smoked, roasted malt dark chocolate kit-kat notes. Vanilla and dark malt linger on the finish.
