33cl bottle from Denns BioMarkt in K2 Shopping Kittsee. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is amber to coppery, semi-opaque. Aroma is orange, citrus, roasted onion effect, bit caramel, spicy touch. Taste is medium malty base, grapefruit, caramel, tropical fruits, pine resin, medium carbonation, quite simple yet nice for the style, enjoyed.

Explosive gushing to very good, lacey, stable cream to mango head over fully hazy orange-brown beer. With the foamfontain, also explosion of fruity hopesters, rosewater, lunaria, lupulinbomb; pistacchio marzipan. Dry, fruity flavour but also a more chemical (in the best sense of the word) and woody dry-bitterness. Oxydized hops, lupulin, hopoils, citruspeel, rosewater. At least medium bodied, +/- overcarbonated, spritzy, chewy, and more than a tad sticky. Certainly not bad, if just under the real top-IPA treshold. Brauerei Gushwork? Purchased @ the brewery

33 cl at Merkur Hoher Markt, Vienna.Amber colour with medium head.Stone fruit with some cheese aroma. Malty and burnt caramel body.Dry bitter finish.
I was wondering about the story in the commercial deScription but I think is just for marketing purposes.Maria Theresa reigned for 40 years between 1740 and 1780 .The Nicobar islands were colonized by Denmark during that time but never continually due to tropical diseases outbreaks. There was in fact a claim by the Triestiner Ostindischen Handelskompanie in the name of the Austrian-Hungarian empire . And there is an island called Maria Theresa in that archipelago. On July 12th of 1778 they signed a treaty with the natives and colonized the island. The colonizers never received logistical support from the empire including food or water, so I doubt that they were receiving good mighty beer. Still a nice story, though.
