REDRUM is an Imperial Stout with cherries and cocoa, aged in Bourbon and Port barrels.
It is an intense, complex and rich blend that will remain both in your mouth and your mind.
REDRUM unveils the creaminess of chocolate, a river of sour cherries and brings complexity from a year spent aging in Bourbon and Port wine barrels. Unforgettable.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A: cherries and cocoa /33B: bourbon and port / 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L25112019 (BBF 11.2022). AROMA: initial medium metallic aroma that fades a bit, followed by medium-high wood with a low Port character, slight bourbon. medium to medium-high alcoholic background with a peppery character. faint roasted malt note. unbalanced. APPEARANCE: very dark brown body and opaque without highlights. medium-low brown head with medium-low retention. TASTE: medium-high wood barrel notes with a Port character. very faint bourbon note. medium-low acidic note. medium bitterness with a dry finish with a slight roastiness that gives way to wood. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an underwhelming double-cask aged Imperial Stout with excessive conditioning, rendering it completely unbalanced between a very faint imperial stout and overwhelming barrel notes.
