(Bottle) Brownish black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, vinous nose with cacao, oak wood, bourbon, port wine, dark bread, cherries, coffee and butterscotch. Malty, vinous taste with cacao, tobacco, dark bread, cherries, raspberries, black pepper, coffee, butterscotch, oak wood, port wine, bourbon and a balanced cacao bitterness in a warming finish. More than medium body, quite sweet (but not cloying). The cherries lend a slight acidity. Rich, tasty and warming. Very nice.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate and bourbon. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, red berries and red wine. Mildy warming finish. Complex and harmonious.

Ölprovning me PQ. Färg? Meningslöst är ju en Imp Stout . Doftar då? Lite sherry med rostad malt. Smakar hallon i ett choklad bad. Sen kommer tyvär en rätt torr ekig och kaffe lik eftersmak. Bra imp stout som får lite väl torr avslutning.
