Some light roast, nut. Some caramel. Dark mahogany pour. OK head and lacing. Tangy finish. Tap at brewery.

Dark amber-brown with a thin head. Smells more on the sweet, bland sugar style. Light bitterness, but also a bit of tartness. Meh. It’s okay but definitely there’s things I’m not liking. If this was Victorian England in a quiet rural pub I’d be okay with a bit of tartness in my pint of brown, but on a 37 degree day in Kelowna, not really sure this works for me.

Soft biscuit aroma, has weak dark clear brown body and little foam. Flavour is boring watered down caramel, it's getting hard to distinguish this brewer's beers from one another (I wonder if they can). Mouthfeel is watery, vague hints of carbonation maybe. This should be held up to beer students the province over of how not to make a nut brown ale.
