An E-Z summer quaffer, this classic style Wit is a 50-50 blend of malted barley and wheat. Round mouthfeel, smooth body, bready notes with a zesty side. In other words, light, flavorful & utterly crushable.

Can, from Blackfish Liquor. Opaque. Thick head. The nose has some orange but also some acetone-type phenols. The acetone carries through on the palate, and is just distracting. There's a good malt base, a delicate orange note, and good body, but yeah, can't have such a flaw in such obvious evidence. Don't need a very phenolic yeast for this - the hops and additives should do most of the heavy lifting on the flavour profile.

Excellent big foam on a foggy yellowish body, lots of banana on the nose with hints of piney grain. Flavour is a semi-tart banana with soft citrus hints. Full mouthfeel. Pretty good, straight ahead, certainly drinkable.
