Can from the brewery
Deep amber colour, clean. Some caramel and cereal aroma. The caramel flavour is intense, luckily it's not very sweet, and there is a bread component, so I like it; but the bitterness is not in tune, there is too much chicory, vegetable bitterness.
Old style, clean malt but flawed hopping.

On tap at Fraser Mills, pours a hazy dark orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bitter piney hops, some orange rinds, and caramely bready malt. Flavour is bitter and vegetal, with bitter piney hops, orange rinds, and an unfortunate vegetal character. The boiled vegetable character realty comes out on the finish. Needs work.

Kind of an ugly amber. No head. The aroma is a bit messy, random fruit/pine hops and a muddled up malt character. Bitter, yeasty, kind of homebrewy. Chewy malts. It's okay but definitely lacks refinement.

Nice foam on a brownish orange cloudy body, slightly sweet vegetal hops but also candyish. Flavour is more sweet hops with a bit of biscuit malt on the back end. Nice oily mouthfeel. A little simple but drinkable.
