Can from the lcbo. Dark brown pour, almost black, with a small beige head. Aroma is roasty, malty, a tad metallic, with some cocoa and light smoke. Mouth feel is nice, carb is solid. Finish is lightly smoky, light chocolate, a complete and total surprise, a decent Molson offering.

Good beige foam and a deep reddish brown body, smells of nice dried unsweetened barley with coffee notes. Flavour is watery molasses, dried coffee bean, roasted barley. Finish is a little wet. Still this is a very drinkable schwarzbier, surprisingly so given the source.

Dark brown colour with copper highlights. Creamy warm beige, kind of light mocha-coloured head with good retention and a little thin foamy lacing. The smell is mostly chocolate malts with hints of dark fruits. These fruits show a little more in the taste over the chocolate notes and roasted malt base. Nothing too fancy, but nice to have a darker lager from a Macro. The Macro shows in those famous hops they use which seem on the fake side, after breathing a bit and the chocolate disappears a little.
