Exceptionally smooth and full-bodied, this stout presents a robust blend of malt flavors from roasted almond, to espresso and dark caramel. Lingering sweetness is tempered by a hint of lemon zest.

Dark brown, thin nitro head. Fairly tart, more than makes sense, and some unclean ferm elements. I sense tired yeast in some of these beers. It’s okay, a somewhat sloppy replica.

On tap at Patina, pours a red-tinged dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma reveals moderate roast and toasted bread. Flavour is very dry, with burnt roasted malt, bitter espresso and a touch of dry, bitter cocoa powder. Dry and roasty, with a bitter finish. It's alright.

Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Coca and light toast. Toffee and cocoa with a light bitterness. Not quite the stout I was expecting but nice.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour. It's the kind of dry stout with some bready notes, and it seems lighter than it actually is.
Pleasant.

The aroma is soft barley and faint nothingness. Has a muddy brown body with modest foam. Flavour is smooth molasses. Modest carbonation. A little tepid.
