Into the mist Hazy Pale Ale - Smooth and refreshing with notes of lychee and white wine with a malty backbone. Copiously dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and circa ensure high flavour while limiting the bitterness. A great rendition of a classic pale ale with a little hoppy je ne said quoi. (sic)

Stormtech can
Blond colour, cloudy to murky. The aroma is mild, some citrus peel. The mouthfeel is bone dry, the body is weak, muddy oats; the finish is somehow harsh and astringent.
Brewing a Hazy Pale Ale is a difficult task, the lack of body and the dryness highlight the chalky mouthfeel, and the lack of residual sugars limit the potential of the hops to become juicy; this is one of those beers.

Cloudy and not much head. Some random overripe fruit, low bitterness and thin malts. This one needs an expert's touch.

On tap at North Pointe, pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bitter earthy hops, bready malt and some citrus rind. Flavour seems to have some butter issues, with earthy hops and biscuity malt. The diacetyl ruins this.

Smells of soft malts, good hops, okay oiliness coming out. Has okay foam on a good orangey copper body. Flavour is malt, custard, orangey hops. Mouthfeel is full and crisp with okay oiliness. A decent pale ale.
