Our rotating smoothie sour, Funk Juice is brewed with oats, raw wheat, and lactose milk sugar. After souring with a house lactobacillus culture and fermenting warm with our house kveik culture, Funk Juice V12 was blended with raspberry and boysenberry puree.

The aroma is good bright fruit skin, has great deep cloudy pink body but little foam. Flavour is more bright berry, sweet but not too sweet, chunky and funk. Mouthfeel has good tannins that linger and nice carbonation. Very nice, very fun to drink.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a cloud bright reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma has truckloads of fresh, tart raspberries upfront... can't distinguish the boysenberries, nor can I detect the lactose. Flavour is loaded with fresh raspberries upfront, with just enough lactose sweetness to be barely perceptible. Beautiful raspberry depth carries this one. Lovely.

Taster shared with Matt. Appearance: nice murky palr purple with a rose head. Aroma: tons of nice sweet raspberries. Taste: along the same lines with quute dry, but sweet at the same time berries. Overall: very nice.
