Tasting at Brian's, bottle
Cloudy to murky blond colour, no head. The aroma is funky and poopy. Moderately sour, it has a nice juicy character and some sweetness, quite drinkable.

500ml on Brian's deck. Appearance: murky blonde with a white head. Aroma: fruity, creamy notes from the oak. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: pretty good one.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, wild yeast, and a little oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with wild yeast, rustic saison yeast, a little barnyard character, and toasted grains. Really nice yeast expression. Excellent — perhaps the best Ravens beer I've had.

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light funk, touch of wood and stone fruit. Funk, light wood and a soured touch of stone fruit. Not really a Gose.

Slight haze. A bit dull-looking. Not much head. Bretty and lightly fruity on the nose. Soft body, a bit of bland sweet malt up front and just a mellow acidity. Vinous accents but this is quite subtle. I was hoping for more.

Nive vanilla and wheat dough with peppery spice on the nose, has murky yellow body and okay foam. Flavour is big sweet oak with soft spicy grain. Mouthfeel is cloying and the oak barrels are way too overpowering. This might work for some but it's too oak barrel forward, needs better balance.
