4oz pour at East Van taproom. Pours clear yellow with white head. Not much aroma. Flavour has damp straw, pale malts, some bitterness from hops. Not great.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Bland, boring, lager malt, no hops. Meh.

Okay pilsner hops on the nose, has clear yellow body with modest foam. Flavour is semi-sharp pilsner hop notes. Mouthfeel is full but the carbonation could be sharper. A mediocre pilsner.

On tap - pours a cloudy yellow. Aroma is slightly grassy and hoppy. Flavour is grainy, a little bitter - quite thin-bodied. Decent, but unmemorable pilsner.

Draught at the brewpub
Correctly brewed, it shows some crispy malt and good hopping, more the flavor and the finish than the aroma. There is also a light apple aroma.

Deep golden, nice lasting white head.Good Saaz hop aroma, not really noticeable in the taste which is nothing but light malt.

Caramelly aroma with notes of adhesive tape. Similar slicky artificial caramel flavour. Strange, hopless beer. Yeast problems are the most obvious thing I can think of. Flat carbo, dead mouthfeel. I can’t figure out exactly what is wrong so I’m not sure anything is, but I’ll be up the Chief soon and hopefully they’ll have this on tap then so I can confirm.
