Can from the brewery
Hazy golden colour. Aroma of Belgian yeast and smoke. Strong flavour, rinsing water, strong salt, some Belgian yeast, moderate smoke.
True to the way it's described, really excessive.

Clear copper gold with a decent white head. Bacony and sweet. Salty and sweet smoke with some grains.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with intense salt, like they just dumped a truckload of salt in it, plus a bit of smoke. Flavour is full of gentle campfire smoke, with plenty of salt, and a touch of esters. Very salty and rather harsh, but it's really not that bad.

Pours with pretty good foam on a clear medium orange body, smells of very soft hay funk with a bit of dirty armpit. Flavour is like tepid miso soup with salt and seaweed hints, vague peppery grain hints. Bad aftertaste, not sure how they brewed this but it's not nearly as clean as usual for Red Racer. Yeah, the mix of flavours isn't well and I can't think I'd want to suck a lot of this down.
