Okay white head, sort of a semi-cloudy sort of golden body. The aroma is all good fresh wheat dough, rather nice. Flavour is good wheat dough, lots of banana. Full mouthfeel, not too sweet. Well balanced, highly drinkable.

Fairly pale for the style, and light. Not much bigger in character than a regular weizen, and tastes mostly the same, with a sweet character, light malts, some banana, and it's pretty thin for a weizenbock. The depth of maltiness that should be playing off of the phenols really isn't here, and it just ends up sticky and unbalanced, and not really to style.

2014-01-18, bottle from Boundary Crossing, Vancouver, 6-4-6-2-12=30
Hazy golden color with medium sized head. The aroma is lightly fruity. The flavor is anonymous, the mouthfeel quite weak, although there is some residual sweetness; it has a fruity touch and just shades of wheat; drier in the final, with hint of oranges.
Simple.
2013-12-20, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 5-3-6-3-12=29
Cloudy amber color , dull, with small head. Rather boring amber ale, with just a minimal sweetness; ordinary bitterness; very light fruitiness from the fermentation, esters.
Nothing to mention about the flavor.
