As dark as the night sky, it's best enjoyed with friends around a camp fire. Dark malt notes harmonize with the light, clean character of a truly European lager.

Dark brown. On the nose, it's a little nutty and with a light molasses note. Light body. It's not bad.

On tap at Camp Beer, pours a creep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry, toasted, earthy malts and a bit of dusty dry cocoa. Flavour is dry and earthy, with dry bready malt, dusty cocoa, and a bit of red fruits. Dry and earthy. Pleasant.

Black, tan head. Toasty nose and palate, medium sweet. Faint bitter finish. Great lacing. Vague diacetyl ?

Good sharp barley on the nose, has murky dark brown body with little foam. Flavour is okay soft barley and the mouthfeel is just a little watery. A simple attempt at the style.
