On tap as Nitro Mild at the brewpub in Gastown, assumably the same beer or a near variation of it. The aroma is soft grain, slightly too soft really. Has nice steady beige foam and clear dark copper liquid. Flavour is middling chewy grain, oatmeal, soft sweetness like that American Yoo-Hoo drink. Mouthfeel is full in an almost proper mild fashion but not quite. This is a decent mild but a little simplified and not entirely the real deal.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, nitro tap
Dark amber color, hazy, with the expected nitro head. Light flavor of bread and toasted nuts; the aroma can barely be detected.
F*** nitro, once and for all.
